Cork Harbour PH shortlisted for Building and Architect of the Year Awards 2025!
We are delighted that our Cork Harbour PH project has been shortlisted for the Building and Architect of the Year Awards 2025! It is amongst some really amazing projects in the Net Zero / Passive House category (Building & Architect of the Year Awards 2025 – Shortlist). Our Cork Harbour PH is the first Passive House Plus certified domestic project in Ireland, meaning that it produces as much energy as it consumes via onsite renewables. This renewable energy is provided by a PV array at car deck level and heat pump technologies for heating and hot water generation. The PV covered carport by Solar Structures incorporates unique bifacial panels, generating power from both sides, via both direct and reflected sunlight. An integrated Eddi system redirects any excess energy to supplement hot water production or for EV charging. Read more here & here
